Van de Laarschot & Associates provides Law of Association course on St. Eustatius
The NAOC organizes yearly the Sport Administrators’ Course on the different islands of the Netherlands Antilles to upgrade the management level of the various sport organizations.
The course started last week-end on the island of St. Eustatius (Statia) and will end upcoming week-end. Participants at this course are sport managers from the island of Statia and Saba. The participants represent the sports of softball, baseball, football en volleyball. During these intensive days various themes were dealt, such as for example the international Olympic structure, sport policy and marketing, and law of associations. Valerie P. Maria, attorney at law at Van de Laarschot & Associates, gave the presentation about law of associations.
This course will also be held on the island of Curacao in the week-ends of November 29-30, 2008 and December 6-7, 2008.
