Valerie P. Maria - Associate

In her leisure time Valerie Maria likes to practice fitness, ride the mountain bike, play tennis and dance salsa.

As a lawyer who cares about her community, she has given pro bono lectures to several non-profit organizations in the Netherlands Antilles about directors' and officers' liability. This year Valerie was invited to act as one of the lecturers during the Trust Officers Course organized by the Financial Institute. She thaught "Law on legal entities".

Valerie was in 2008 the president of JCI Curacao Female, a non-profit leadership organization whose focus is to prepare young and dynamic women to undertake challenges as future leaders in the community. This organization is affiliated with Junior Chamber International, a worldwide non-profit federation of young professionals and entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 40.

Valerie Maria was born in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles in 1977 and speaks Dutch, English, Spanish and Papiamentu
